Research: 
We will be preforming in Camden Peoples Theatre we had to research many thing before we think about what we where going to preform as we have never been to the theatre and we will not  be able to go there until the performance, unless we go there in our own time. We also have to find out how big the stage is because we don't want to plan to use a 7m prop when the stage is on lonely 5m long.

Planning:
Now we have to plan what we are going to preform for the audience and what we need. Because our preformance would be shown before our silent film, we decided to have a back story to the film to explain to the audience why certain things happen in the film. The story line of the play is that , a group of friends go into a huanted house and get seppersted and Kathleen (Who is played by Adina) is seperated by herself and she goes through this door that is a gate way to hell and she is turned evil. As the director of the my group we wanted our preformance to stand out from the others so I thought we could make a set instead of just preforming to them and the group agreeed. Becuase of this we needed to have a lot of probs and costume for example fake spider web, fake spiders, pumkin, etc. We also need to to find out who would the the tec guy to play our music for the back round and for lighting and who would be side stage giving out the probs or coustumes.

Problem Solving:
There where many problems that we had to face for our performance as we found out that the stage was only 5m x 4m in size, which is very small especially if we were doing a set. This created a problem for our group because we wanted to have a gate and 3 doors, so we had to some how a just our set to fit the stage. Another problem was where would the music students be preforming because if they preformed on stage there would be less space for us to perform and as the stage was already small that would raise and issue so as a class we thought of putting the in a empty space behind the audience which was shown on the layout that we where given by our teacher Becca of the theatre.

Evaluation:

  • Everybody remebered there roles.
  • There was a lot of facial expressions throught the play.
  • The costumes were good
  • We used the forth wall 
  • We engaged the audience  

EBI: 
  • We should of have better costumes 
  • We should of have a smoke machine 
  • We should of made each scene clearer
