"Our Day Out" Research: For this unit we are looking into the play "Our Day Out" by Willy Russell which was published on the 28th December 1977. "Our Day Out" is a play about kids that live in Liverpool from a remedial class that are unleashed for a day's coach trip to Conway Castle in Wales, stopping off at a cafe, a zoo, a beach and a funfair.  Planning: At the beginning we where given our scene and and our characters we did no do the whole play because it was to long. Hamilton Questions on Cast's Q&A 1. Who was Alexander Hamilton? What was his background and what did he achieve? What was important about him? What was happening in America at the time and what important historical event was he a part of? Why is Hamilton an important figure?  Alexander Hamilton was the founding father of the United States of America. He was also statesman, politician, legal scholar, military commander, lawyer, banker, and economist. His ethnicity was Scottish but he was a part of a religious group called French Huguenots was for French protestants. Some of this achievements are that h e became George Washington's most able and trusted aide during the Revolutionary War. He  wrote most of the Federalist Papers, which ensured ratification of the Constitution, and he served as first Treasury Secretary and stabilized the economy .

Unit 5/6 Citizenship

Citizenship  For this unit we are looking into the play Citizenship by Mark Ravenhill which was published in 2005.  Citizenship  is a bittersweet one-act comedy about growing up, following a boy's frank and messy search to discover his sexual identity. The reason Mark Ravenhill decided to write this was for The National Theater Connections program, which commissions new play for young people to preform in schools.
